SBGSL Registration

SPRING REGISTER IS NOW CLOSED. 

 

Please check back for our fall registration that opens up in July.

Please refer to the new updated age restrictions from USA Softball. (see below) When registering your player(s), please select the correct age division if it does not already default. For ALL petitioning up players, please register your player in their TRUE AGE DIVISION. In order to request your player to petition up, a formal email must be sent to commission@sanbrunogirlssoftball.com with your request for us to consider.Please understand nothing is a guarantee, all petitioning up players must attend BOTH evaluations. If you are unable to attend the evaluations for both divisions, your petition up request will not be granted. 

Example: Any 6U player requesting to play up to 8U is required to attend the 8U evaluation. Any 8U player requesting to play up to 10U is required to attend the 8U evaluation AND 10U evaluation and so forth

We are looking to field a team in 6U, 8U, 10U, and 12U. However, 12U division will be dependent on how many are interested and coaches. We will have a better confirmation once registration closes.

 

USA SOFTBALL AGE INFORMATION:

6U: Birth Dates 9/1/2016 - 8/30/2018 

8U: Birth Dates: 9/1/2014 - 8/30/2016 

10U: Birth Dates: 9/1/2012 - 8/30/2014

12U: Birth Dates: 9/1/2010 - 8/30/2012

 

SELECT TEAMS: 8U & 10U Divisions

"San Bruno Select" is a team assembled during Spring evaluations(or a separate eval.) geared towards a more competitive environment in addition to your Spring Rec Team. Teams are formed by age group.  These teams play scrimmage games vs. neighboring city’s Select teams, usually on Sundays.  It is up to the Coach how often practices are or when games are played. These practices are in addition to your spring Rec team.  Attendance on evaluation day is required in order to be considered for Select. Player commitment is also required for this team. *please note players earn their positions on the Select team; player might not play the same position as your rec team.  If you have questions, please email commission@sanbrunogirlssoftball.com as soon as possible.

 

 Refunds:

100% refund until close of registration on Sunday, January 7, 2024. 

50% refund from January 8, 2024 until January 20th evaluations.

$50 refund on day of evaluations.

NO refund day after evaluations due to teams being formed

***Please note SBGSL & USA Softball does not allow players to play multiple rec softball leagues at the same time***
